About Starlight
Starlight Community Art is a community art studio located in downtown Sheboygan. We offer a safe space to anyone seeking community and a way to improve their well-being.
Through simple, guided art techniques, you’ll open doors to your own personal creativity. You’ll also learn practical methods that support coping skills and mindfulness.
We especially welcome people in recovery, including those who’ve been incarcerated.

Hi! I'm Jill Brotz, the owner and instructor at Starlight Community Art.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Fine Art in 2008, and over the years I've discovered that making art is an important part of my recovery and well-being. My art has transformed from methods that imprisoned me in perfectionism to a more free-flowing style that I truly enjoy and find very soothing.
My vision for Starlight is a non-judgmental community space where we can have fun and explore how art supports well-being. Whether you're an experienced artist or have never painted before, you're welcome here.
